This evening my wife and I set out to create a panoramic shot of the sun setting over Cedar Key from a new location. This time we chose a location that gave us a good view over the back bayou.
When we got to our predetermined location, about 15 minutes before sunset, we were happy with what we saw.
We knew that the cloud structure would enhance the sunset. On this evening it was full tide. We hope to go back and create a similar panorama during low tide.

After capturing the shots for the above image, we drove by one of our favorite locations for sunsets – G Street. We had a feeling this was going to be one of those nights when the brilliance of the sunset lasted for a while.
Even though it was at least 10 minutes past sunset, there was still a nice glow in the sky. This panorama is a composite of 14 images.
