While taking a walk this afternoon we spotted a White Ibis sitting atop a dead tree across the road from the Cedar Key cemetery.
With the sun starting to set in the east, the bird and tree were very brightly backlit. To create this image I positioned myself to increase the backlighting effect, then took several shots with the bird in different positions.
For the next image I repositioned myself so that I could include a touch of nearby pine tree branches.
